Re: BP carrier card advice needed

Roger; Yea, I figure the board will be somewhere around 6x6 or 6x8 in size and I will be using most every single pin on the BP. I have never had any noise issues with the relays up to now so I didn't think that could be an issue. The relays will be driven by ULN2803 which have internal protection fl...

BP carrier card advice needed

Hi all; I need to replace my current HW system for a product that I manufacture and am looking into doing that by getting a carrier card/breakout board designed for the Blue Pill (BP) and am asking those of you that have experience with this type of project for advice/feedback on what type of effort...

Re: BluePill breakout boards

Roger, if you don't mind me asking, what are your breakout boards going to provide? I ask because I am currently in the process of looking to get a carrier/breakout board for the Blue Pill or RobotDyn Black Pill designed around my specific product requirements and if what you are currently working o...

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

I'm not sure why you would want a Red Pill, apart from the colour. AFIK they are functionally equivalent to the Blue Pill A better option now seems to be the Robot Dyn version which has a black coloured PCB, and has the correct USB pullup resistor (unlike the Blue and Red pill which both have the i...

Re: Programming MM with ST Link V2?

Murphy's law as usual. Unit was DOA and just happened to be the first one out of the 5 I bought that I pulled out and started testing with. All the other units work fine and program with no problem. As usual, what should have taken 10min took 5 hours. This being my first experience with the MM I did...

Re: Programming MM with ST Link V2?

At this point I am just trying to figure out if unit is DOA. BTW I am not using Arduino. I am just going to program with straight up c code. I can't get any of the ST Link utilities to connect via either JTAG/SW or direct connection to UART1. When trying to connect using UART1 and the ST Link Flash ...

Programming MM with ST Link V2?

I have been working with Blue Pills for a while with no problem and just received some Baite MMs to play with. Problem is that I can not get my ST Link V2 to connect to the MM. Never had any issues with BP but can't for the life of me get it to work with MM. I have connected to PA13, PA14, Gnd but n...

Re: Power Blue Pill and Maple Mini from external 3.3 source?

Thanks a bunch, that is what I thought. What specifically would I look for in the data sheets? I have looked in the past and did not see anything that specifically addressed this issue. I even contacted one manufacture and they really didn't have a straight forward answer. I would think that in toda...
