Re: NuttX on a BluePill

@acassis: thank you for your video tutorials, they are great! I had a small problem while flashing a Bluepill fresh out of its anti-static bag: I got this error message from openocd: Error: stm32x device protected I solved this issue by sending: openocd -f interface/stlink-v2.cfg -f target/stm32f1x....

Re: NuttX on a BluePill

I wonder how usable is this port? I mean, what part of Nuttx is available (network, fs,threads...) and how much is left for applications?

Re: Graphing calculator feat. STM32F412VGT6

The electronic design is rather simplistic:
  • An STM32F412VGT6 MCU
  • An ST7789V 320x240 LCD display
  • An RT9078 300mA LDO
  • An RT9526A linear LiPo charger
  • An RGB LED

This looks interesting. I wonder how those little things parse the input and perform the calculation. Bcd?
It looks like more high-level C++ with IEEE fp:

Re: STM32F407VET6 has 1MB flash !

Making a mask for achip is expensive, thus manufacturers only use as few as possible. OTOH, marketing is pushing for having an orthognal matrix with pin counts and memory size as axis, in order to create a range that they can charge more or less tot he customer... AFAICT, TI was the first to reuse t...

Re: [HackaDay] Take the Blue Pill and go Forth

eLua is a big ram eater :) .. I managed to run eLua with full 192kB (F407) but frankly, I would need a few MB to be happy.. Thinking to compile the latest eLua for my Black F407 with 512kB ram.. The native and only type is double (64bit) floating point in eLua, so FPU will not help much. PS: wait o...

Re: I2C Slave Library

AFAICT, the current errata for the STM32F103C8 is now ST Doc ID 14574 Rev 13 , not the obsolete Rev 8: http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/errata_sheet/7d/02/75/64/17/fc/4d/fd/CD00190234.pdf/files/CD00190234.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00190234.pdf From the document revis...
