Re: hall effect tachometer

Thanks Ollie Basically, I want to take a vibration reading from a variable speed machine. The fMax (maximum frequency in the FFT spectra) will depend on the machine's speed. I only need to read the speed once every five minutes or so when a vibration reading is required. The way I thought about doin...

hall effect tachometer

Hi, I dont want to reinvent the wheel but have not found any code for the stm32duino using a hall effect sensor for measuring RPM, just code for the Arduinos. Has anyone got a working code to calculate RPM from a hall effect sensor? typically, I want to sample for 3-5 seconds and calculate RPM from ...

Re: Which pins for spi1? For nRF24L01

Thanks Roger.

Does that mean the pinout has been labelled wrongly?

Steve.

[SOLVED] Which pins for spi1? For nRF24L01

Hi On the generic stm32f103 pinout diagram on this page of the wiki http://wiki.stm32duino.com/index.php?title=Blue_Pill there are two sets of pins showing as mosi1, miso1, sck1 and nss1 i.e. PA4, PA5, PA6 & PA7 and also PA15, PB3, PB4 & PB5. I am wanting to use 8 ADC pins so would prefer to use the...

Re:Which bootloader? (To not flash PC13 on a Blue Pill)

Cheers Roger

I considered using one that flashed a pin which isn't on the blue pill but wasn't sure if that could cause it to hang, trying to access non existent registers but if you are correct, then that shouldn't be a problem.

Resolved: Which bootloader? (To not flash PC13 on a Blue Pill)

For my project I have an adapter board for a blue pill, connecting it to several push button switches to navigate my menus and also to a tft screen to display my data etc. Now, I have two switches connected in series, ie both have to be pressed simultaneously to be detected and these switch the tft ...

Instead of the pins or the terminal block or as well as? - the socket is only a few pence so I've ordered some.

Re: blue pill prototyping board with tft adapter

Good point.. I guess a kit would probably need through hole regulators. Which cost more than smd's negating any savings. Btw, this isn't the finished product of the board I sent you, that one has moved on a bit with a rechargeable LiPo battery and improved layout for the navigation keys. I've also ...

Re: blue pill prototyping board with tft adapter

@Andy, yes its fully assembled. I'd probably still have to assemble the smd's not everyone can do that. Also, I can guarantee it's working if I assemble and test.

I could sell a cheaper one with sockets and no blue pill I suppose.
