Re: Programming Nucleo F302R8

I may have damaged the firmware on the board. I don't think. There are two MCUs on the board. The target: STM32F302, and the debugger: STM32F103. The debugger has its own firmware. You can alway upload new firmware to the target MCU. Try to connect with ST-Link utility to check debugger. http://www...

The MCU must be exactly the same.

Re: Slighly off topic ;-)

But why? STM8 is obsolete, isn't it? Almost the same (package and price), but 32 bit and more peripherals: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/STM32F030F4P6-Small-Systems-Development-Board-CORTEX-M0-Core-32bit-Mini-System-Development-Panels-48-MHz/32742017601.html Ten ICs: https://www.aliexpress.com/ite...

Re: 'ON' Button circuit

Once I made something similar. https://circuits.io/circuits/3352039-soft-power-v3-with-5v-logic Center button is ON. You can also check its pressed state with the MCU at the rightmost voltmeter's positive input. It will be high when you press button. The other button is OFF. You can change it to an ...

Yes. I have many F429 discovery boards. Older one has V2, newer one has V2-1. I hate V2-1, so uploaded V2 firmware to V2-1. The hardware is identical.

"The architecture is very different"
Yes, it is true. That is STM 8 bit architecture, not ARM. This forum is about STM's ARM MCUs.
