Re: Qemu or other emulators

If you are using Linux you could try to develop your software on the PC.
I started an emulation framework here.

Re: BluepillF4 PCBs

60 is maybe a bit optimistic indeed,
The picture at the bottom shows the minmum seeing distance versus age.
The worst decrease is between the age of 45 and 50.

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

It is probably the best if the people discuss a little bit about the importance of exchanging the SD-card.
Here is how Paul Stoffregen made it with the teensy 3.6.

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Just one remark to the "SD-card exchange problem": To exchange the SD-card on the bottom side when the F4BP is soldered is probably impossible. Therefore one solution would be to place the SC-card connector on top btw to flip the whole board as it is before soldering onto a PCB. But then the buttons...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Your design looks very nice. Probably it would be useful if the SD-Card Holder would be turned by 180°. It could be easier for a user to exchange the SD-card when the board is built in a housing.

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

On Hackaday there was this article about a prototyping company. Probably it could be useful to get boards fast.

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Nice that there is a 405 Board now.
But I would prefer that one from Squonk. I think it is designed with due diligence.

Re: STM32 OTA on Arduino IDE for STM32-Arduino and STM32GENERIC repo

by mrburnette » This use-case seems overly complex. Why not just use an ESP32 board? More SRAM, more flash, faster clock, 2 cores... less power intensive overall and still There could be a use case: The Bluepill has more Pins than an ESP32. There are a lot off drivers for the BluePill, I think more...

Re: STM32 OTA on Arduino IDE for STM32-Arduino and STM32GENERIC repo

Very good.
The last few weeks I played with the NodeMCU and different programming languages like MikroPython.
It would be very good if the BluePill could be programmed with the NodeMCU and afterwards the NodeMcu could be used as interface controller to the web.
