Suggest having BluePill pins defined for all Arduino pins

Hello It would be nice if in some future STM Core release, all of the standard Arduino pins had a corresponding Pill STM32F103C8 pin. Note, there is a Nucleo pin assigned/defined for each and every standard Arduino pin (see the attached spreadsheet). But for the Blue Pill STM32F103C8 three of the st...

Trouble getting started driving I2C LCD with BluePill

Hello. I'm new to using the STM32F103C8 BluePill with the Arduino IDE. I've installed the STM32F1xx Cores by ST-Microelectronics version 2017.1.20 and STM32 Cores by ST-Microelectronics version 2017.8.31. I've gotten the bootloader and several sketches plus some bare metal peripherals running on the...

Re: Wrong Nucleo-F103RB frequency under STM32F1xx Cores

OK. That's fine.
When do you think the BluePill and MapleMini will be supported by the Arduino_Core_STM32/"STM32 Cores by STM-Microelectronics" package?

Thanks
Dave

Wrong Nucleo-F103RB frequency under STM32F1xx Cores

The Nucleo-F103RB is supported under both "STM32F1xx Cores by STM-Microelectronics" and "STM32 Cores by STM-Microelectronics". The "STM32 Cores by STM-Microelectronics" version correctly sets the Nucleo-F103RB's frequency to 72MHz. The "STM32F1xx Cores by STM-Microelectronics" version incorrectly se...

Re: HAL_SYSTICK_Callback not working on Nucleo-F103RB in Arduino IDE

Yes Arduino cores use one of it's timers for millis() and delay() while the STM32 cores have a dedicated SysTick timer for generating 1 msec interrupts. There are a number of HAL routines that support using this SysTick timer for managing scheduling tasks and one of them is the HAL_SYSTICK_Callback(...

[SOLVED]HAL_SYSTICK_Callback not working on Nucleo-F103RB in Arduino IDE

The HAL_SYSTICK_Callback works on Nucleo-F103RB using STM32CubeMX/TrueSTUDIO, but not when using Arduino IDE with STM32Cores by ST-Microelectronics version 2017.8.31. The attached Arduino Sketch compiles without generating any error message, but the oneSecCount variable never gets decremented as sho...

Re: Blue pill's Bootloader - what's goin' on .. ???

I'm very sorry Roger and everyone else. My mistake. I discovered that my problem was that I didn't have the Maple DFU driver properly installed. Once I installed/reinstalled the driver the Blue Pill bootloader works just fine. I'm not sure why it worked before unless one of the Windows 10 updates ca...

Re: Blue pill's Bootloader - what's goin' on .. ???

Well I opened the Device Manager, plugged in the Blue Pill STM32F103C8 board, and the "Other devices" "Maple 003" showed up briefly as expected. I then tried unplugging the board after the Sketch finished compiling, but unfortunately still no luck. The board continues to send the "Congratualtions, ....

Re: Blue pill's Bootloader - what's goin' on .. ???

Thanks for the reply. Yes the driver is loaded, I selected the COM port, and yes I'm getting the "Congratulations, you have the ..." message over and over. As it goes through the process I hear two beeps close together at about the same time as the log says "Resetting to bootloader via DTR pulse","S...
