re examples
what i missed was that the examples menu visibility seems dependant on the board selection.

wow - lots & lots of SdFat examples :)

stephen who's currently wondering how many SPI interfaces/boards i've blown up with 5v sd card modules :cry:

@daniel, for some strange, no doubt sensible reason to me at the time, i installed yours and a cm version. i ended with three STM32GENERIC menu entries in the boards menu. i'm using @danieleff STM32GENERIC as of 170520171240 under linux debian jessie 8.x 64bit with the i2cscanner for discovery vg example sketch. the good news is i can re-flash the st demo saved from a st-flash read and it works, however with arduino i originally had COM14 not available, looked in ~/.a...

if this is programming from the ide with a st-link ?
could you try this ?
connect another serial device, serial-usb block, another micro, even a nano :)
select it in the port monitor
program the maple mini via st-link, does it now re-enumerate?
