Re: PR to remove compile warnings buy adding __attribute__((unused))

i've always thought that message was a library/link stage output, as a warning to
indicate the code that's not being linked into the 'elf/bin'.

Re: Using an STM32 to levitate/suspend tiny neodymium magnet at 12" or so...

The rail guns use 5-10 million Amperes to fire a projectile w/ 2miles/sec muzzle velocity and 100miles range.. googled, https://www.wired.com/2010/12/video-navys-mach-8-railgun-obliterates-record/ albeit only 1.5-2MAmp, shell is a brick shape, visibly drops in its very short flight. i'm surprised i...

Re: STM32 with Eclipse, STM32Cube, GNU ARM and J-Link.

one thing about cubemx & sw4stm32, the boiler plate initialisation and de-initialisation are handled. plenty of sections labelled as user supplied. Big but, the user bits still need to be supplied to handle the spi/i2c/uart/usart device, the guts are still required to get it to work. e.g. a tft lcd ...

Re: usb-serial dongle with maple mini or bluepill - for flashing bootloader

are there fpga's around that can handle analogue signals ? then you know what's coming next, a generic pcb and socket with ota rewrite and then it'll be finding the s/c or o/c in the wiring harness. once upon a time a hardware engineer, then for a time software & hardware engineer, ultimately a soft...

Re: SPI STM32F407 not working

b2/b3/b4 can be either one of ' spi1 a5-a7 remapped ' and (more correctly to me) still labelled SPI1 OR as ' spi3 b2-b4 native ' and then re-named (at least to me incorrectly) as SPI1 by native i mean it NOT being subject to afio_remap. i think you may well need a re-map/disable the debug pins call....
