perhaps Mr G Brown's work might be a gentler introduction, even though it's based on a VL Discovery STM32F100, architecture is pretty much the same within the family and it's a free pdf amazon kindle store searching stm32 has Introduction to STM32 ARM Microcontroller with STM HAL-Library & SW4STM324...

can't believe everything you read, even on aliexpress store pages :) what i can say is the signal names on the display match the pin names (all fsmc btw) on the f407 board, so it must be the software then :lol: at the end of the day, whether it's a core for libmaple, hal, spl or a bespoke c/c++ off ...

actually i did mean a display connectable to the FSMC, preferably plug-in. i've tried buying the compatible displays for Black F407V/Z/I's and most assorted cores forlornly, yours with libmaple drivers and instructions, daniel, victor & haeweix! so far i'm thinking about 12v and would it then show s...

sadly i can't say that they will work as is on a 103c8 some without a doubt need a FSM or FSMC, those i think need a 'v' as a minimum.** again i still can't say they will work, even then. ** just dropped into CubeMX, new project selecting device by required functionality, it only lists V-I devices. ...

kaffeine and recording

if you change to the channel you are recording or intend to record, doing a channel scan results in a list of channels you can still watch whilst you're recording.
easier if you have two tv sticks though, bigger choice if recording on both :)
only took me a few years to twig that one :)
