Re: New DISCO_L072CZ_LRWAN1 variant; questions about a few details

Thanks for answer! I will send a pull request once I've verified it actually runs on the hardware.

Re: New DISCO_L072CZ_LRWAN1 variant; questions about a few details

In fact, they could be connected depending a solder bridges to the same pin than other Ax or dedicated pins. (same on the schematics rev C or D) Refers: Table 11. Configuration of the solder bridges of the UM2115 Right. I wasn't sure how useful it would be to define pins that are non-functional by ...

[Answered] New DISCO_L072CZ_LRWAN1 variant; questions about a few details

I'm working on a variant to support the Discovery L072CZ-LRWAN1 board: http://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/b-l072z-lrwan1.html IIUC, this is the board that is being used in free ST workshops on LoRa connectivity. The branch is here: https://github.com/knielsen/Arduino_Core_STM32/tree/disco-l072cz-...

Re: SPI Slave full duplex with DMA

A full-duplex SPI slave always transmits one byte to the master in parallel with one byte sent from (and initiated by) the master. Thus, when transmitting from slave to master, you need to prepare the byte to send, and then wait for whenever the master decides to initiate a transfer. This makes SPI ...

Re: New NUCLEO-F302R8 variant; question about SS1/SS2/SS3

Ok, thanks for the answer! So it makes sense to just leave those SSn defines as is.

I got some tests done on a board, it seems to work (blink, serial, ...). I will send a pull-request soon.

[Answered] New NUCLEO-F302R8 variant; question about SS1/SS2/SS3

I had a go at introducing a NUCLEO-F302R8 variant, following https://github.com/stm32duino/wiki/wiki/Add-a-new-variant-(board) : https://github.com/knielsen/Arduino_Core_STM32/tree/nucleo-f302r8 It is partly based on NUCLEO-F303RE, which is quite similar. The NUCLEO-F302R8 devboard PCB is identical,...

Hello!

I am an STM32 old-timer who just learned about the STM32 support for the Arduino environment. I find this interesting since it makes it easier to introduce others to the STM32, even when they are not comfortable with STM32 development based on GCC, Makefiles, and SPL/HAL. To get started, I tried cre...
