Re: Proposal for moderators to rename threads etc

Before deleting them we should maybe extract the solution to the particular problem, and add it to a wiki or howto, if not already there.

Re: OV7670, Generic STM32F103RC and ILI9341 display

If you are using the older ILI9341 version, well, you break one basic rule for pixel reading because you will toggle CS (done within the function writecommand()). My new version with reworked CS and DC pin toggling will do it right. When I get back home (in couple of days) I will test and generate f...

Re: What happened to gpio_write_bit and others?

Originally, the pin map already included the ordered pins from PA0 till PG15, so I though the bit information is superfluous. Then I added the pin map to the FLASH and I think it made a difference on the size whether this bit info was included or not in the pin map table. We could re-add the missing...

Re: [libmaple] SDIO

Sorry, no, I cannot tell because currently I have no application for F4 which would involve I2C. My priorities include the black F4 on-board SPI flash. Then I intend to test the blue F4 board. I think that board includes an I2C flash chip, so this will bring your request forward. As further step the...

Re: [STM32GENERIC/HAL] SerialUSB TX/RX speed problem

I agree, too, that no one will ever try to resend data when outputting over serial. That is I think sending over serial shall be kept as simple as possible, thus be either blocking or not blocking. The F4 serial USB was originally configured to non-blocking, but I have changed this because I missed ...

Re: Adafruit_ILI9341_STM - improvements

Victor, I corrected the things you mentioned.
However, because I am not at home, I cannot test it.

If you discover some bugs or have compile/build errors, please report it on github.

Re: Getting stlink error while flashing

You may have used PB3/PB4 in your code as GPIO pins, and used disableDebugPorts(); You can use STlink probe only when you don't use PB3/4 in your code. Solution: You upload via USB DFU a code in which you remove the above mentioned function, or specify: enableDebugPorts(); This will turn on the SWD ...

Re: OV7670, Generic STM32F103RC and ILI9341 display

Your repo is missing #define TIMER_CCMR_CCS_OUTPUT 0x0 #define TIMER_CCMR_CCS_INPUT_TI1 0x1 #define TIMER_CCMR_CCS_INPUT_TI2 0x2 #define TIMER_CCMR_CCS_INPUT_TRC 0x3 I specially removed those defines because they were not used correctly later on in the header file, specially for CC2(3,4)S inputs. I...
