Re: generator on a timer with an interval of 25 nanoseconds ?

Try this: #define timer Timer5 #define TIMER5_CH1_PIN PA0 void setup() { pinMode(TIMER5_CH1_PIN, PWM); gpio_set_af_mode(pin, 2); /**/ timer.pause(); timer.setPrescaleFactor(1); // use 42MHz internal clock timer.setOverflow(2); // output ~21MHz signal (48ns period) timer.setCompare(TIMER_CH1, 1); // ...

Re: generator on a timer with an interval of 25 nanoseconds ?

The problem seems to be on the F4 side in the Roger's (and my) repo.
I am investigating the issue, but it seems that major rework is necessary.

Re: Hello from Philippines

That kind of "error" (which is actually not) is normal. The important part is that upload finished 100%. Does it ignores the prints in the setup class, am I wrong or just plain stupid None of them. Just that the serial message is transmitted before the serial monitor opens, that is why you don't see...

Re: Multiple I2C libraries

Do you have 4k7 pull-up resistors connected to the I2C lines and 3.3V? The Adafruit example sketch is different from yours, the VL instance is declared before the OLED: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_VL6180X/blob/master/examples/vl6180x_oled/vl6180x_oled.ino#L16 So please try that example and ...

Re: Hello from Philippines

Yes, connect a USB cable from the PC to the micro USB slot and chose the "Stm32duino bootloader" upload method in Arduino IDE.

Re: usb host contr stm32

Hi, i was looking for the option for usb host controller from stm32f . I want to use usb stick and collect some data from stm32. i need some advise for selecting controller. Looking at the original post it seems to me that @dev wants to use the F4 as USB host , to which he would connect an USB (mem...

Re: Multiple I2C libraries

Have you tried the i2c_scanner example when both are connected?
Are they connected to the same I2C lines?

Have you tested the Adafruit OLED example? https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_VL ... x_oled.ino
It seems that it is using the same ICs as you.

Re: Multiple I2C libraries

So it seems that it hangs in the VL6180 begin () function.

Where did you get the library? Any link?

Re: generator on a timer with an interval of 25 nanoseconds ?

You should use directly the PWM output signal of timer instead of digital port output.
Add this line to setup() to generate PWM signal on a timer channel pin:

Code: Select all

pinMode(OUTPUT_TIMER_CHANNEL_PIN, PWM);
