Re: 8-bit|16-bit parallell ILI9341

If you use my lib, then you have to have all consecutive data pins in order from 0 to 7 (low nibble) or 8 to 15 (high nibble).
I will double check my setup at home in a couple of hours.

Re: generator on a timer with an interval of 25 nanoseconds ?

It is not a rectangular generator, but I think this is what I need and will work fine from me ! Well, it must be a square-wave signal, because it is a digital output PWM signal from timer 5 compare channel 1. gpio_set_af_mode(TIMER5_CH1_PIN, 2); 1. What does it do and what does the digit 2 ? It set...

Re: 'error_led_port' on generic STM32F103V boards ?

It is there to signalize if an error occurs in the sw.

Then you have to change the error_led_port in boards.txt to another port pin, where maybe another LED is connected.

Re: mini-PLC with STM32F103VC

OK.
Then I will move this thread to the bootloader section.
(and changed the title to reflect the intended scope.)

Re: mini-PLC with STM32F103VC

If you have a SWD connector, you don't necessarily need a bootloader.
You can use a STLink probe to upload new sw and to debug as well.

Re: generator on a timer with an interval of 25 nanoseconds ?

Try this: #define timer Timer5 #define TIMER5_CH1_PIN PA0 void setup() { pinMode(TIMER5_CH1_PIN, PWM); gpio_set_af_mode(TIMER5_CH1_PIN, 2); timer.pause(); timer.setPrescaleFactor(1); // use 42MHz internal clock timer.setOverflow(2); // output ~21MHz signal (48ns period) timer.setCompare(TIMER_CH1, 1...

Re: generator on a timer with an interval of 25 nanoseconds ?

The problem seems to be on the F4 side in the Roger's (and my) repo.
I am investigating the issue, but it seems that major rework is necessary.

Re: Hello from Philippines

That kind of "error" (which is actually not) is normal. The important part is that upload finished 100%. Does it ignores the prints in the setup class, am I wrong or just plain stupid None of them. Just that the serial message is transmitted before the serial monitor opens, that is why you don't see...
