Re: Combined bootloader and sketch

I've not moved the merged bins to the original "binaries" folder and I've moved the binaries that are just the bootloader to a new folder called "bootloader_only_binaries"

Re: Radio library Bluepill

Have you confirmed that the stations you receive eg. at 100Mhz actually transmit at 100Mhz i.e Its possible that the frequency calculation you are using is incorrect and that when you try to receive on 103 you are telling it to receive on 108 or higher. Sounds more like your board just doesnt receiv...

Re: Radio library Bluepill

Okay, I've tried 3 libraries of which only 2 of them work, but the problem is that I can't seem to get past 103.5MHz frequency!!! If i go past that I can still hear that station, with a bit of noise... Anyone had this problem before? Can it be a problem of having 10k pull up resistor on the i2c ins...

Re: STM32 Library for RGBmatrix

There are several implemnatations of libraries for addressable RGB leds. I did one using SPI DMA and there is also a bit-banged one, which has been posted to the forum, and Rick Kimball has done an implementation using a different system to generate the pulse timing However these are only for strips...

Re: very small STM32F405 board

Looking at the photo in the listing, although it has a lot of pins, many of them seem to be labelled as power and ground .

It is also quite expensive.

So IMHO only if use if you need a small powerful board but don't need many GPIOs

Re: Combined bootloader and sketch

Thanks I will change that line. If I had more time, I was hoping to write a general purpose program to merge binaries, where the start address would be specified in the command line, rather than the sketch address of 0x2000 being hard coded. But the main purpose of this was to combine the bootloader...

Re: TEK 4010/4014 Vector Graphics terminal DEMO

Thanks

This could be really useful.

Putting it into a library would IMHO be the next logic step

Re: Combined bootloader and sketch

Its not a simple matter of concatenating the files because the bootloader is not 0x2000 long. Thats why I wrote a exe to do it. I published the source and I suspect it would compile with very little modification on Linux Anyway, its only me thats likely to be combining the binaries as I've never rec...

Combined bootloader and sketch

Because we continually have problems where people expect the bootloader to appear as a serial device, I have created a system to merge the bootloader with a simple sketch (which prints some text) into a single binary, which will eventually replace the raw bootloader. Currently these combined files a...
