Re: What is RSSI

Can I suggest you raise this topic on a TI forum about this device, as the would have specific knowledge on TI products

Re: just found a cortex m3 wifi SOM for 2$

I looked on eBay and they cost $4.50 Australian dollars, but ESP8266 is less than $3 and EPS32 only costs $6

Apart from it being ARM core, rather than MIPS ( Xtensis) core, I don't see the point in using this device, when there are cheaper tried and tested alternatives

Re: PR to add optimisation menu (to all boards individually)

Thanks Steve

I think -O2 may be faster than -Os, as that works for LiveOV7670, but I already posted about using -O2 and the consensus was that we should stay with -Os

PR to add optimisation menu (to all boards individually)

There is a PR to add an optimisation menu https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/Arduino_STM32/pull/313 e.g. it adds this to every board mapleMini.menu.opt.o2std=Faster mapleMini.menu.opt.o2std.build.flags.optimize=-O2 mapleMini.menu.opt.o2std.build.flags.ldspecs= mapleMini.menu.opt.o2lto=Faster wit...

Re: Adding Custom Board Questions/Feedback

Thanks. Someone on another forum recently told me about being able to add new boards to an existing core, but I have not had time to try it. I will take a look at your files as if we can separate out the boards into different json files it will simply the number of variants in the core repo We could...

Roger,
Visual Studio Code is different from Visual Studio.
It uses plugins, there are two for Arduino and one of them is now opensource. You don't need VisualMicro.
Thanks

The installation is totally clean phpbb with no add-ons etc.

Perhaps you can search for this problem on phpbb's site

Re: Hello from Melbourne, Australia!

Welcome Where about in Melbourne are you? There are quite a few forum members in Victoria. I'm also in Melbourne, and 2 other members are somewhere in the Geelong area Re: VIsual Studio. I know that some other people use Visual Micro with Visual Studio, so you may want to search the site using googl...

Re: Blue pill's Bootloader - what's goin' on .. ???

The idea of including a dummy sketch has already been discussed.

I have a method to do this, but I don't have time to make the change at the moment
