Minimum ADC reference voltage?

Guys. I thought I read somewhere that the F1 ADC ref voltage could be set at 1V, but perhaps this was for the F3 not the F1 As far as I can see from the datasheet, ADC input range: VREF- ≤ VIN ≤ VREF+ and VREF- =V SSA (I think this is 0V) 2.4 V ≤ V REF+ ≤ VDDA i.e ADC min range is 0 to 2.4V I was ho...

Re: Andy's Postbag and random ebay links

Ummm. I only ordered 3.. I think someone on eBay did a deal on 5 of them, but that was for UK only, so over here they are $1 AUD individually, which is about 57p Sometimes I get a good deal as they price in round numbers and because the Aussie dollar is not worth as much as a pound, I get stuff chea...

Re: Should I change the bootloader to use the Boot1 jumper as the DFU mode lock "button"

Umm. I could add another option, but the Arduino IDE menu system for boards.txt is messy. I have to duplicate the menu code for every single board.

Re: Should I change the bootloader to use the Boot1 jumper as the DFU mode lock "button"

Guys OK. Sounds like using Boot1 as an equivalent to the Maple Mini "button" to hold in perpetual bootloader, may cause more problems than it solves Like @stevstrong has pointed out... You can achieve the same thing by holding the board in reset until just before the IDE is about to upload...

Should I change the bootloader to use the Boot1 jumper as the DFU mode lock "button"

Guys Can we have a poll.... Do you think it would be a good idea if I changed the bootloader so that on all "generic" boards that have a jump link on Boot1 (aka PB2) (and don't have a user button)... That pulling Boot1 (PB2) high via the jump link, enabled "perpetual bootloader" ...

Re: Set flash wait states based on CPU frequency

Hi Roger, just a note: in the PR assumption is to use HSI for 8MHz, not HSE. OK. I think he's also just changed the PR as all that other code seems to have vanished (arrgghh) Edit There is a new PR. The old one is still there OK. My mistake.... In that case I'm not entirely sure why the...

FYI. I'm applying loads of changes to the master branch

Guys... Just a heads up... I'm processing the backlog of PR's and issues and various other fixes, and applying them straight to the master branch. However I can only do limited testing, which generally consists of making sure it still compiles, and then testing whether the STM32 graphic test - to an...

Re: pinMode() disables timer even if no PWM mode involved

Can we change this one step at a time.

I think we've established that pinMode does not need to disable the whole timer

Can a PR be generated for just the pinMode change

The SPI issue looks more complicated and can be applied separately to the pinMode change
