Re: OverClock. at Runtime ~90MHz

Andy

Thats an interesting suggestion. e.g. change to 72Mz in the USB ISR

Unfortunately I don't know enough about USB to know quite when data is clocked in and out etc

Re: Hello from Brazil

STLink drivers are separate from the USB Serial and USB DFU drivers

In my repo the drivers are here

https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... rivers/win

Specifically install_drivers.bat

Re: Hello from Brazil

Probably the USB pull up resistor needs to be modified as the USB re enumeration is not working.
I.e they upload via STLINK

Or they have not installed the drivers

Re: Problem with PWM Output lots of noise.

I do not know what priority the PWM is set to by default, perhaps it’s the highest possible already.

You would need to read the full manual for the STM32F103 to find that information

Re: OverClock. at Runtime ~90MHz

Pito

Did you notice if the USB stops working if you switch to 96 MHz for a short time ?

It normally takes the PC host quite a long time to notice the USB device is not working,

So I wonder if switching to 120 MHz for 100ms would kill the USB?

Re: Rogers postbag

I don’t think Supercapacitors are cost effective, and most of them seem to be 2.7V so I would need 2 of them, and they are more expensive than LIPo for the same capacity It’s probably better to buy a bigger solar panel Re:Google Ads LOL, I block thousands of add server urls at DNS level as well as r...

Or, it may be possible to run at 128MHz for a few milliseconds without impacting the USB at all.
Thanks Roger!!

Any code snippet for that??
No. I'm not aware of any code to change the clock speed during at runtime.

Re: Problem with PWM Output lots of noise.

OK. So you didn’t raise the priority of the PWM, you reduced the priority of the USART .?

Re: Introduction

This is not the right forum for market research about what features a particular product should contain. It’s a forum for members to help each other use the Arduno IDE on STM32 devices. I presume your “robot”would be sold for educational purposes, but the members of this forum are highly skilled and...
