Re: Hello from Indonesia

Welcome BluePill STM32 has better ADC ( and more ADC's) than ESP8266 so can be better for logging. However if you are not logging from the ADC then you may not need the STM32 at all. ESP8266 has some low power modes and you can turn off the radio when not logging. ESP32 may be even better, but its n...

Re: STM32 versus arduino pro mini

Sounds like you already saw the Teensy PPM library https://github.com/PaulStoffregen/PulsePosition/blob/master/PulsePosition.cpp https://github.com/PaulStoffregen/PulsePosition/blob/master/PulsePosition.h However, if you are saying that this doesn't support some specific type of PPM you are using, a...

Re: Flow sensor The lens on the one I have is adjustable, so can be used at various distances, so perhaps may work at 100ft or more. No idea about what it would do if you were at FL50 etc ;-) But, like you day they are cheap enough to warrant buying one to try, and they may provide additional data w...

Re: Long time reader , first time posting

Hi Glen. I drove though Townsville about 15 years ago on a road trip from Brissie to Cairns, but it was a whistle stop tour, so I can’t remember much. Melbourne has pretty strange weather as well. “Four seasons in one day” etc. Hook turns don’t bother me, but I hardly every drive in the CBD, as the ...
