Re: keypad library

No

Thats just your sketch that uses a file called keypad.h

Your sketch does not compile if I select Arduino Uno in the IDE

Its not a file that is part of the Arduino IDE as far as I can tell.

Re: Hi from poland.

Interesting idea I think that should work, because it does not need much processing and the MCU is very fast So for output pixel X,Y ( X is along the scan line, Y is the scan line number), The output GPIO pin gets turned on if abs(ADCBUF[X * X_RESOLUTION] - Y * Y_RESOLUTION) < THRESHOLD and if the p...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Seems unlikely that a specific character would arrive on those pins unless one was specificly sent to the MCU. Even if the pins were randomly toggling with noise it would only be a 1 in 256 times that the data would match the pattern. And in reality I don’t think the input pins randomly toggle, unle...

Re: Hi from austria

OK. If you can get all the rest of the functionality working on an Arduino Nano, I think its very likely you will be able to get a simple web server working ;-) BTW. I'm actually in agreement with you about the RPi Zero etc. I have 4 RPi boards (an original Model B, a RPi 3, a Zero and a Zero W) and...

Re: [Solved - Tone is now blocking] Updated Core, Serial out now appears to block

I've removed the line that blocks, and have done some timing tests, compared with an Arduino Uno, and the timings of my test program now seem identical on the Uno and the Maple mini.

Please update your local copy with the latest version and let me know if this resolves the problem

Re: [Solved - Tone is now blocking] Updated Core, Serial out now appears to block

It looks like a partial fix is to remove line 108 added in this PR https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/Arduino_STM32/commit/e14c83fe8d39d7012075f8a98c72a2b0a335c4e8#L109 I will need to connect a piezo speaker to a board and test to see if that change would be a total fix or if there are side effe...

Re: USB HID / USB MIDI as libraries

I'm not comfortable with a function to power down the USB with no obvious way to power it back up again

I understand its done elsewhere, its just not obvious to anyone looking in the code.

Perhaps we could have a function that can do both enable and disable the USB power, or have separate functions.
