Re: OV7670, Generic STM32F103RC and ILI9341 display

Just did some speed tests and 1000 calls to readPixels unsigned long m=millis(); for(int i=0;i<1000;i++) { tft.readPixels(0,0,320,0, lineBufLCD); } Serial.println(millis()-m); shows 1284ms So about 1.2ms per line. This was slower than I'd expected and looking in the code for readPixels, I think this...

Re: OV7670, Generic STM32F103RC and ILI9341 display

Working towards saving the image to the SD card, I've managed to save one of the screens from the graphicstest sketch to SD I'm not sure if technically this should be working or not, because I'm sharing the SPI bus with both the SD card and the LCD display, but as they both have their own Chip Selec...

Re: Differential ADC (ADC1-ADC2)

I'm not sure if @pito's original schematic is going to yield useful results. Aren't both ADC inputs going to suffer the same amount of common mode noise at the same time ? I see that the 2 inputs have a resistor between them, but the value has not been specified, and even if there was a high value r...

Site upgrade planned outage - Saturday 2017/10/23

Guys I've noticed that there are security updates that I need to apply to the site. I'll attempt to update on Saturday, but in the past updates have not happened smoothly and I need to make sure the DB and the filesystem is fully backed up to my local machine before I try the update. Unfortunately t...

Unverified user deletion

Guys, Over time the site had around 200 accounts which had been registered by not verified via email. This is potentially where the account had been registered by a SpamBot with a non existent email address or by a real person who entered the wrong email address, or whose email system blocked the re...

Re: Hi every one KHODIDAS from INDIA

Arduino_STM32 only has limited support for the F4 series ( this is documented in many places)

You should try using the official STM core, and post an issue to

https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32/issues requesting USB host functionality

Re: Suggest having BluePill pins defined for all Arduino pins

One slightly confusing thing on that diagram is that the Alt pin for SPI1 are show without any indication that they are only used if you call the appropriate AFRemap function.

No worries...

Re:LTO

I have not noticed any problems in gcc 4.x, except LTO does not always result in smaller or faster code.

Also, in LibMaple I have noticed enabling LTO shows some warnings during compilation, but they dont seem to effect the operation of the code.

Re: MapleMini : Standalone Bootloading and USB/Serial Usage

There is a special branch of the repo for some Ham radio guys where DTR is not needed, but is quite out of date, so if you can find a terminal that can set DTR its the best bet

Re: MapleMini : Standalone Bootloading and USB/Serial Usage

USB Serial works with most terminal programs but the terminal needs to set DTR (some don't)
