Re: Hello from Norway

Wel... I don't find it a problem

It probably depends on your PC, and also what sort of USB cables you use etc

Technically the value is completely wrong.

Its supposed to be 1.5k to 3.3V, but the board has either 4.7k or 10k to 5V

Re: Hello from Norway

You may not need to solder the resistor for USB

It usually works OK with most PC's even though the value is wrong

Re: Hello from Norway

Most boards, (apart from the Maple Mini) are blank when you buy them, or just have code that simply flashes the on board LED You can get code onto them using USB to Serial, or by using a ST-Link (or other SWD programmer) We have a USB bootloader that works on the STM32F1xxx series, which is what mos...

Re: [SOLVED] Prolific USB to serial not working on Windows 10

LOL, fake PL2303 chips as well now ... I womder how cheap a product has to be, so that its not worth cloning. On a vaguely related note... There are STM32f103 boards that emulate the CH340g USB to Serial adaptors. ( and also do USB to SPI and USB to I2C) and the firmware binary was posted to another...

Re: Another F103C8 board (but not good value)

I tried the latest firmware on a BluePill and it is now appearing as a CH340 is I ground pin PA7 (MOSI) I'll try the other pin combinations later, but as there are no docs about how the I2C or SPI modes are supposed to work, e.g. can you send commands or just data, e.g. Enable SPI CS etc, then I thi...
