Re: SOLVED: [SLOEBER] program crashes with call to malloc.

Rick I think if someone is using an IDE other than the Arduino IDE, then we need to say that they need to get support from the forum for the IDE in question. After all, the strap line I've had on the forum, from the beginning is "Everything relating to using STM32 boards with the Arduino IDE" Anythi...

Re: SD / Memory bottleneck, any ideas?

I thought SDIO was the best way to improve performance, but its not available on the Blue pill , and libmaple does not have a built in library for it.
Though I thought there was at least one thread on SDIO

Re: MPR121 i2c touch keypad with Wire library

I don't know that much about I2C, but I am happy to change the core as long as it does not break things for other users.

I am also happy to add new API functions if necessary to enable this mode

Re: [SLOEBER] Sloeber problem, program crashes with call to malloc.

Ok. But it may still be worth testing if you have permission to do this,

I often have to put [SOLVED] into titles as people can't be bothered to do it themselves

Re: [SLOEBER] Sloeber problem, program crashes with call to malloc.

Rick You may be able to change the thread title. Just edit the initial post. This does not change the titles on the replies but it does change what is seen in the listing in the container section. If you can't change it, let me know and I will see what permissions need to be changed to allow moderat...

Re: Aliexpress delivery times

That certainly is a record. Some stuff recenvtky took 2 months, and I was in the process of getting a refund when it arrived... I am not sure what happens on Aliexpress in terms if s refund. You could open a dispute in 60 to 90 days, and I am not sure if you would need to or be able to return the re...

Re: Libmaple problem, program crashes with call to malloc.

Bill I don't know the details of this, as I didnt write the original code. It was written my Leaflabs but they abandoned it 3 or 4 years ago. Unfortunately Leaflabs don't answer questions e.g. as issues on their github repo which still contains the original libmaple code. So we can only speculate on...

Re: Stm32duino with Android, how to use USB serial on Android

I would recommend you post to the Nordic Devzone forum about the practicality of transferring low res video via the nRF24 If you really want to build something that takes data from a OV7670 and displays on a Android phone, you should probably use a ESP32 and transfer via Wifi. Or perhaps a RPI Zero ...

People don't seem to know the wiki exists.

I think its better to go with Ricks suggestion

Re: Libmaple problem, program crashes with call to malloc.

I did a test of malloc on a maple mini using LibMaple and it doesnt seem to have any problems So this is something unique to Sleober I'm not saying there is no bug in LibMaple, but malloc appears to be totally usable.
