Re: Making your own pcb's.

I bought the T962 because I thought it would end up being cheaper and more effective than modifying a toaster oven. However, I never had any success with it, even when running the open source firmware. The readings I got on the 2 temperature probes, were more than 20 deg C different from each other,...

Re: Blue Pill crystal does not start

This question has been asked before, mainly by people using boards without the crystal.

Try Googling this site for terms like RTC crystal, or 32khz crystal.

Re: Making your own pcb's.

Your 3D printer must be a lot better than mine ;-)
Min layer size is probably going to be too thick e.g. .2 or .4mm
Edges are messy.
Positional accuracy is perhaps 0.5mm at best on my Mendlemax 1.5

F2xx MCUs can also provide both CAN (2x) and USB at the same time.

Does the F4 do this as well?
F4 seems to normally be a superset of the F2 and F4 boards seems more generally available than rhe F2

Re: Hello from Amsterdam

Hi Oliver

We have several members who are interested in music creation in various forms, but I don't know if anyone has made a synthesiser using a STM32

Perhaps you can post some details of what you intend to build, and people may have some ideas and links to similar projects

Re: Hi from a prospective stm32 owner

A lot of the BluePills firmware installed that just flashes the LED.

Unfortunately it does not include the bootloader. You will need to flash this yourself using a USB to serial adaptor

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Regarding the reset button switch: I used the ultra-small (3.5 mm L x 2.7 mm W x 1.4 mm H) ALPS SKSGACE010 in some of my existing designs: http://www.alps.com/prod/info/E/image/Switch/Tact/SKSG/SKSG_L.GIF 2D drawing and 3D STEP files here: http://www.alps.com/prod/info/E/HTML/Tact/SurfaceMount/SKSG...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

what i am wondering though is on github or so how we'll handle the pcb project, unlike code it's something that doesn't lend itself to easy merging ^^' or will i keep doing all the changes to the pcb? Only put it in github so people could access the latest version from the same place all the time. ...
