Re: Proposal for moderators to rename threads etc

Some of these are threads where the OP didn't reply to confirm that the problem was ever fixed.

Rick

I thought perhaps the forum does not have as many active members as we imagined, but I did a query on the database for then number of members who have logged in, within the last 4 weeks and the result as 288, which is higher than I had expected

Re: [STM32GENERIC/HAL] SerialUSB TX/RX speed problem

Libmaple has code that checks one of the handshaking signals (DTR I think), and if it can't send data to the host, then the code "blocks" in the write() function

It has been noted that this differs from the Due which don't seem to check if the Host is ready for the data

Re: CAN Bus Library for STM32F103

You can upload via the USB bootloader, and have Serial USB disabled in the core, however you will have to manually reset to upload, as the IDE uses USB to trigger the board into the bootloader in order to upload

But, I think there are more than one Define you may need to change

Re: SD / Memory bottleneck, any ideas?

I will create some forum rules, as I know in the past people can get offended if they feel they are effectively working for free on a commercial product without knowing this. I can see that Pito is however happy to answer questions for commercial products. Also, there is a notice in the readme file ...

Re: SD / Memory bottleneck, any ideas?

I find it interesting that you say that the cost of the F4 is too high, and you imply that you are developing a commercial product

If so, I think you should have made this clear.

This thread seems to be a zombie

Re: Proposal for moderators to rename threads etc

I've moved a few threads to the Graveyard, mainly if the OP never bothers to reply to the final answer from a forum member who is trying to help out. I guess we should handle these cases a bit like github issues. e.g. ask the OP if the issue is resolved and if they don't reply in a few days, the iss...
