Re: SdFat works with 256MB, but not with 4GB SDHC

Note of caution, the SPI1 port is not supposed to run that fast. While testing something I had loads of errors with an SD card. I decided to test the SPI port alone, and connected TX to RX, then did DMA transfers. The result is that at max speed, with DMA for TX and RX, and someone else doing memory...

Re: What's the difference - stm32duino makes st-link inoperrable?

May have something to do witht he debug pins. Not sure what's the default not, but look around the init() function, or wherever is called from, the find the one that sets the debug pins to alternate mode. A search in the forum will possibly give you some pointers. Search for debug pins, or jtag or s...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Squonk, then what do you think, keep original connector in the position it was originally, or are you going to try that smaller one you found? I don't think this is a deal breaker for anyone, at least not for first revision testing. On a different subject, I'm going to make a comment on how I have r...

Dev, are you embedded...@...? If so I see the credit in my page, so it's still giving me credit that we can use for community projects. Or so I hope, I have not tried yet to use any of the credit that shows up as "coupon" in my page since the F4 pill board is not final yet. I'll update the first pos...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Squonk, on sdcard connector, whichever works best for you in placing in the board. I think everyone agrees that the connector the other way around would be nice, but is not critical. Racemaniac, I think the shipping from China to multiple places would probably increase the cost. Where are you locate...

Since the F4 bluepill is almost ready to start prototyping, if you registered with my link in the first page, please send me a private message and let me know, to track those credits to use for F4 bluepills. I am not aware of any other community project going on yet, but if there is another and get'...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Funny, if you enter Qty 60 from radio buttons, you get $19, but when you enter it in the text field and submit, you get $20  Where did you get the 64x16mm dimensions from? The actual PCB size is 53.34 mm x 22.86 mm. OK, here is the selection: allpcb_order_form.png I think it could be nice to...

Re: Need Help with EEPROM Emulation

As pointed out before, the problem is most likely that you are wiping the whole flash when uploading with St-Link. You must use a method that doesn't wipe the whole flash (you can do so if using the ST_link GUI tool, has an option to select whether you want to completely erase the mcu or only the re...

Re: [SOLVED] Enable interrupts from inside a timer interrupt

There is also the option to feed a timer from another timer. I don't remember all the details, the datasheet shows what it can do, but perhaps that can remove the need to have 2 ISRs completely and leave only 1. I think that one of the modes is to enable the second timer to count once the first time...
