Re: AC Dimmer

Victor I looked at the data sheet for the moc3043 but the Zero crossing part if the chip something to do with only turning on the triac at zero crossing and not part of the detection as far as I can see I think it’s for a different use, where you have a highly inductive load and don’t want to turn ...

Re: AC Dimmer

MOC3043 for example has zero cross, is the same as MOC3023 + Zero cross. Pito may have misstyped 6/8 @Pokemon: This is my zero crossging ISR: https://github.com/victorpv/reflowOvenController/blob/master/bluePillReflow/bluePillReflow.ino#L155 But as you see here, I am simulating it with a timer to us...

Re: AC Dimmer

I wanted to know if there was an opportunity, run on two timers, that's all. You can, the switching won't be synchronized with the AC wave, so no good for lighting, but for a heater you should be ok. I do something similar for my reflow oven controller, and works fine, though I plan to enable zeroc...

Re: AC Dimmer

Andy are you suggesting the capacitive dropper+ the opto? The opto provides isolation, so the schematic from pokemon has isolation. About using it without cross detection, you could modulate power by turning on for a number of cycles, then off for a number of cycles, rather than for a percentage of ...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

I have not used the hardware dfu in the F4, normally just use the STLink. That said, I see we have two options: add extra components to pull those pins low, which may affect their usage for other functions (if the pull down is too weak, it may not have an an effect other than if the pins are floatin...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Roger, it's the same for me with dragging, tracks only in openGL.
I haven't tried dragging a component in canvas mode, need to try that, but in OpenGL dragging a component doesn't drag the tracks attached to for me.
So openGL mode is the same for me as you describe.

Re: How to evaluate digitalWrite at compile time?

It's likely used in the STM32Generic core that he maintains, the link should be here in the forum, in the cores section, first post from Roger. Out of curisity I looked it up, is in this file, although there is another related, variant.h in each variant folder: https://github.com/danieleff/STM32GEN...

Re: Sloeber and float sprintf: doesn't work

In the project properties, change the board to something else, apply, and then back to the one you were using. That will reload all flags from platform.txt Not sure if it reloads them by just closing and opening, I believe it doesn't. I use sloeber 4.1 in a windows 10 and 4.0 in Win 8.1, both work f...

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

I just found the perfect component for the job, MAX40200, but is not worth it, can't find it in aliexpress, and in mourser costs $0.5.
