Re: ST-link clone by baite

They only used F103C8 (64k) in their F103 version and only the F103CB version (128k) supports the UART in the STLink software as I think the UART version of the STLInk is just a little to big to fit in 64k. This is because the STLink has its own bootloader system, but the bootloader is quite large ...

Re: ST-link clone by baite

Shame that Baite have decided to use the F101 instead of the F103, in some ways it would be better if they used the F103CB (128k), because the 128k STLink's have UART as well as SWD, and they are also upgradable to be a JLink, using a publicaly available upgraded produced by Segger Oh, you think th...

Re: ST-link clone by baite

Ok, thanks for your answers!
So I might try to flash the stlink version of the BMP firmware. I just have to look at the pinmap. I hope that the previous messages in this thread apply to the 101 model.

Re: ST-link clone by baite

Can you confirm that your Baite ST-Link clones are using a stm32f103c8t6 chip? I have received mine but it uses an stm32f10 1 c8t6 so I am a bit disappointed. I had planned to flash it with BMP firmware. I have already a Blue Pill converted but a USB dongle is more convenient. I have opened a disput...

Re: First pass at a BluePill Variant

Can be changed to something like that: if(port == GPIOA) { __GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); } else if(port == GPIOB){ __GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); } else if(port == GPIOC){ __GPIOC_CLK_ENABLE(); } #ifdef GPIOD } else if(port == GPIOD){ __GPIOD_CLK_ENABLE(); } #endif #ifdef GPIOE } else if(port == GPIOE){ __GPIOE_CLK...

Re: STM have developed a HAL MX core

That is a very good news for the community!
There was no reason STM32 did not get official support for an Arduino API.
I am following the progress in the dedicated forum section and on Github!

Re: Timer as Encoder

Hi, Thanks for the updates and explanation about the prescaler, but it seems that you did not add the fix yet. I have tried to put 0 as a prescaler and I get the full resolution. Thanks. Also, I forgot to mention before, but the first example lacks a Serial.begin() statement in setup(). And there is...

Re: Timer as Encoder

Hello, I think the name STM32Encoder is OK. But you should make the change in the example (which should be in its own directory with the same name as the sketch), in the library.properties and keywords.txt files. Also change enc.Direction() to enc.getDirection() in the example. I have tried it on a ...
