Re: Bluepill: max. voltage on 5V pin?

One of my Baite clones emitted magic smoke when its owner inadvertently connected it directly to a 12+V automotive feed. It's now eking out a lonely existence at a landfill somewhere so I'm unable to check the regulator markings. Spew Alert to others ... do not drink coffee while reading the above ...

Re: yet another n00b checking in!

Welcome. And your need is why this group splintered from the Arduino.cc forum several years back... AVR limitation with the Official/Clone AVR products in the Arduino lineup. (... and limitations and cost of the Due board.) You have a year under your belt, so you'll fit right in here ... you know th...

Re: Linux Journal

@Ray, dons his Dick Turpin costume and hijacks the thread. :P  Well, hopefully not that terse of a move ... reckless interjection, perhaps. With 2 cups of coffee in my system, I am trying to remember exactly why I posted that to this thread... Anyway, I am running the beta Chromium on this 64-...

Re: Arduino TFT libraries compatibility

I do think that it would be wise for Libraries to run on different platforms. i.e. make it painless for a Mega or Due program to work out of the box on STM32. Ok, you will always have a lowest common denominator but no one minds if an extra "bell or whistle" needs the bigger Flash or faster CPU. Ju...

Re: RFM69HW demo application for blue pill?

I did a Google search against github.com rfm69 stm32f103 site:github.com and found this, but unless you can contact the author, the validation will be upon you. This is typically why I write my own stuff. https://github.com/brainelectronics/RFM69-STM32 IMO, unless you absolutely want to build a libr...

Re: Hello from UK

The darkness of the sky is slightly better in Scotland, away from the central belt. Generally the further north and west you go in Scotland, the better. We do see the aurora round where I live, from time to time too. <...> Andy, you are such a show off  But, just 3 hours from Atlanta: http...

Re: BP carrier card advice needed

Hi all; I need to replace my current HW system for a product that I manufacture <...> The Chinese "blue pill" may be an unwise choice if your product needs to be manufactured over more than 1 production cycle. I strongly recommend sourcing the uC directly, STM32F1xx. There is little on the blue boa...
