Re: Need advise on logic analyser

I'm using this 24MHz since awhile https://sigrok.org/wiki/Lcsoft_Mini_Board . But the current thread here make my old wish coming back to my mind. I will purchase either one of those : iCE40-HX1K iCEstick Eval Board or Open Workbench Logic Sniffer. Here some stuff to read about : http://hackaday.com...

Re: Ported: JChristensen/DS3232RTC

If you look at the DS3232RTC library code, it is returning 0 if it is not able to read the RTC on I2C bus.
So, you need to debug that ... Maybe your wiring is wrong, maybe you forgot to have pull-ups, etc ...

Re: STM32duino bootloader Linux confusion.

Good question ... Maybe to debug further you can edit the script /hardware/Arduino_STM32/tools/linux/maple_upload, and just before the last line adding an echo would help : echo "${DFU_UTIL}" -d ${usbID} -a ${altID} -D ${binfile} ${dfuse_addr} -R "${DFU_UTIL}" -d ${usbID} -a ${al...

Re: Official GD32 demo boards

Sorry Victor, I've read your post too fast : I understand that you didn't find the web site at all ... For GD32 on Olimex, I found the original posts and the latest back in December 2015 was : https://olimex.wordpress.com/2015/12/21/gd32f103rbt6-the-stm32-pin-to-pin-compatible-chinese-mcus-sample-te...

Re: In car multigauge

BennehBoy just wish to have some demultiplexer to drive several CS pins for different SPI devices.
So, using a I2C gpio expander is maybe too overkill, and it takes more time to settle the pin since it is I2C.
Simple demux will settle pins as soon as the gpios driving it are set.

Re: In car multigauge

No needs for the 5th gpio on EN, since when you are setting the 4 ones, the SPI transaction isn't started and SPI clock isn't started either.
(BTW, even on the 74HC42, there is no EN line, it is BCD directly)
