Re: [libmaple] Generic F407VE mini (vcc-gnd version)

Insert your sdcard in the socket on your 407 mini board and try an SdFat SPI demo. Set the sdcard's chipselect/cardselect in the sketch properly.
CS (or card select) is pin2 on the socket -> PC11.

Re: [libmaple] Generic F407VE mini (vcc-gnd version)

Does the SPI interface work with the sdcard?

Re: [libmaple] Generic F407VE mini (vcc-gnd version)

@efftek: does the usb connector power the board actually? (sometimes the microsocket's pins are not soldered properly). Also the resistor dividers around boot switches have got values which are not the best choice.. I would replace the 10k pulldowns with something like 47k-100k.. ..version for F4 th...

Re: SdFat works with 256MB, but not with 4GB SDHC

The smaller the SDcard the faster. Try to decrease the clocks.
Start at 72MHz main clock and 9-18MHz SPI for the SDcard.

Re: Time interval counter (13ns resolution)

When you say 72MHz/2, were you measuring a 36MHz PWM?
Those 30Hz were measured at 36MHz output. Thus with 72MHz it will be 60Hz. The OCXO was free running, none disciplining.

Re: [SOLVED] Volatile Qualifier

fyi - replacing 1288x __io with __IO in my older local Arduino_STM32 repo took 14secs (Notepad++, Find and Replace in Files).

Re: F405 & F411 versions of the BluePill

Yea, that fmax is for a straight wire of length l, I think. Such big loop of wires is like a planar transformer :)..
Anyhow, I have to stop with seeing the  in the details ..
