Re: Differential ADC (ADC1-ADC2)

I run an ADS1110 (not in differential mode, -Vin at GND) on the same breadboard as the BPill + all the other stuff. When I connect +Vin to a resistor divider 3k6/3k6 (divider from Vcc to GND, not blocked) to get 1.65V as the ADS1110 is max 2.048V, with 12cm long wire, and -Vin to GND (12cm wire and ...

Re: short on VBAT?

The Vbat current when RTC is on should be 1.2uA according to the datasheet. Simply insert an ammeter between Cr2032+ and Vbat (or Cr2032- and GND) and you may see the current. I do not have MMini Baite schematics handy (do we have it somewhere?). The Vbat pin could be setup differently (on silicon) ...

Re: NuttX on a BluePill

This is the way I created a shell script "mrdisk" for creating a ramdisk :) without an editor available.. Copy and paste work perfectly in TeraTerm, set NewLine to CR/CR. I've also set 256chars per line via menuconfig. Fantastic stuff the ">" and ">>" work here! nsh> echo "mkrd -m 1 -s 512 800" >> /...

Re: NuttX on a BluePill

Nice! Please try to copy from SDCard to RAMDISK, it should be an interesting test to do! ;-) Here you are - the entire session such the people may try as well fast: 1. a ramdisk sized ~400kB created 2. an sdcard filesystem mounted 3. a TEST.bin file ~300kB created on the sdcard and then copied from...

Re: NuttX on a BluePill

Yeah, the filesystem performance over SPI (EDIT: NONE DMA) here is not the best. Needs finetuning, sure. I've tried to enable DMA with SPI, but it does not boot (perhaps it needs to be implemented in src). Here is the ramdisk performance - that should be the sdcard's one :) We may try with SDIO on F...

Re: NuttX on a BluePill

We can do 3.2MB/sec read and 3.5MB/sec write with SdFat on BluePill (36MHz SPI1).
DD must do ~1MB/sec easily while doing copy :)
Something like

Code: Select all

dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/AAA
dd if=/mnt/BBB of=/dev/null
must show ~1.5-2MB/sec (conservative as there is OS running).
Long way to go, however..

Re: short on VBAT?

You do something wrong with your measurement. 200ohm would drain the cr2032 in 10hours completely. 3V/200ohm = 15mA. Cr2032's capacity is 150mAh. According to the schematics I saw the Vbat is connected directly to pin Vbat. If you measure with a multimeter (plus on Vbat, minus on GND), which uses se...
