Re: [STM32GENERIC/HAL] SerialUSB TX speed problem

Ok, with CDC_SERIAL_BUFFER_SIZE 512 I get now with F407 *** USB TX speed = 260.60 KBytes/sec The standard compiler. With CDC_SERIAL_BUFFER_SIZE 2048 I get with F407 730-994KB/sec. *** USB TX speed = 994.73 KBytes/sec Update: with maybe more realistic scenario - with 1mil chars sent to TeraTerm termi...

Re: [STM32GENERIC/HAL] SerialUSB TX speed problem

@Daniel: what compiler version do you use? Even with your vanilla repo I cannot get more than 64kB..

Re: What is RSSI

Your RSSI reading is just a number. I doubt you may get dBm, dBuV or something like that. You may use the readings for relative comparison, like: at this specific chip's radio setup, modulation scheme, BWs, channel n., antennas positions/radiation diagrams, gains, distances, etc., the transmitter T1...

Re: What is RSSI

I expected the wider bandwidth to give at least the same RSSI as the narrower gave - tha narrower was included into the wider. That would work provided you have got a $xxK spectrum analyzer and you are watching peaks of your signal with cursors on it, but those RSSIs inside the chips are fairly sim...

Re: [libmaple] Latest - issues

AS I told, your issue is probably linked with Sloeber. Sorry, but there I cannot help you. Closed from my side. @steve: I do not request you to do.. The fact the libmaple does not compile sources under Sloeber is indeed a kind of issue, as the Sloeber is an Eclipse plugin for arduino ide stuff.. Th...

Re: [libmaple] Latest - issues

This is the recipe which works with latest RG libmaple under Sloeber (platform.txt): recipe.c.combine.pattern="{compiler.path}{compiler.c.elf.cmd}" {compiler.c.elf.flags} -mcpu={build.mcu} "-T{build.variant.path}/ {build.ldscript}" "-Wl,-Map,{build.path}/{build.project_name}.map" {compiler.c.elf.ext...

Re: [libmaple] Latest - issues

So this is the organization of my Arduino_STM32 folder which works with Sloeber here (with the newest libmaple as well): Arduino_STM32 Org.JPG The subfolders STM32xx are various versions of repositories (ie DE - older Daniel, DE1- newest Daniel, RG0 - older Roger, RG-newest Roger, Victor, Steve, etc...

Re: [libmaple] Latest - issues

@steve: there is the link above with the simple example.
No error messages (provided I changed the chunk in the platform.txt, also see above). It compiles fine.
The older version of my libmaple repo works with Sloeber..

Re: [STM32GENERIC/HAL] SerialUSB TX speed problem

I've replaced the cores and the system with your latest and I get (Black F407ZE @168MHz) *** USB TX speed = 64.87 KBytes/sec Blue F013ZE @72MHz *** USB TX speed = 64.45 KBytes/sec Update: with newest libmaple from RG repo, F103ZE @72MHz *** USB TX speed = 224.12 KBytes/sec Update1: with newest libma...

Re: [STM32GENERIC/HAL] SerialUSB TX speed problem

Great! I will try, I updated my local on 24.6. so maybe I miss your patch..

BTW, I've compiled the test for Black F407 @168MHz under my old libmaple (patched manually with steve's patch) and I get 1013-1064kB/sec..
