Re: Lightpen

Which electron beam you want to detect? There are 3 (when talking a color TV) :) Also mind in the areas where you see "black" no electron beam is present. Such lightpens worked: 1. you scanned with the ebeam "on" the entire screen (the scanning driven by some "electronics"), and when detected the li...

Re: STM32F103C8T6 (blue pill) audio feed through with PWM and timers

To your first source: 1. I would set sampling rate equal to the pwm freq (10kHz) 2. you still use "65535" in your map(), that is wrong, you have to use "maxduty" instead - this your line is wrong outputValue = map(inputValue, 0, 4095, 0, 65535); //ADC uses 12 bit (4096 values), map to output of 16 b...

Re: Reading Analog Voltage on STM32F103C8T6

Analog voltage to read is easy: Example (provided as-is, no warranties of any kind, use at your own risk): // Example how to measure 5-12V DC with BluePill // You must have a voltage divider wired at the stm32 analog input // Example of a voltage divider R1=33k, R2=10k for max 12V input // Provided ...

Re: STM32F103C8T6 (blue pill) audio feed through with PWM and timers

The .. period = 100; // PWM period in useconds, freq 10kHz maxduty = pwmtimer.setPeriod(period); .. sets the PWM period to 100usecs (for example), AND(!), it returns the "maxduty" which is a number <=65535 and its value depends on the set pwm period ( it is not always 65535!!).. You have to map your...

Re: FT232H - setting DTR high or to input

In TeraTerm you may set/reset the DTR or RTS with "macros" (Control->Macro, you have to create a .ttl file with the command(s)).

setdtr 0/1
setrts 0/1

DTR blinks with termite. Thanks.
A pity TeraTerm is missing it..

FT232H - setting DTR high or to input

Any idea how to set DTR (active low output) of the FT232H (working in UART mode) to "high" or to "input mode"?
PS: Without writing some low level drivers or apps..

Re: Timer "One-Pulse" mode

Off topic: I think you triggers the load "on" at zero crossing, and at specific time you switch off the load (with the pulse). Based on the timing you manages the power. Does it creates EMI as well when switching off during an active period (off the zero)? Would not be better to regulate the power b...
