Re: Introducing Sduino for the STM8

What exactly are you trying to do? Just compiling a simple sweep program using the servo library is failing due to not finding Servo.h unless I copy it and the rest of the library directory into my sketch. If it is supposed to work I think I'm going to have to try a fresh install due to how many co...

Re: Introducing Sduino for the STM8

Is it intentional that a board manager install is unable to directly access include paths and I still have to manually copy header/library files from the library directories when using the IDE or is my install somehow corrupt (something that's not entirely unlikely since I have half a dozen other co...

if your code uses SPL, it's not datasheet compliant - yes, ST's own code doesn't follow the datasheet
What is SPL?
The Standard Peripheral Library, an outdated API provided by ST but still somewhat widely used.

I still think they are good value, and at least I'll get them before Christmas
Right after 11.11, I kind of doubt it.

Looks like the same board as the one from here posted last year.

Re: STM8 Core

I made a little breadboard pill board, more of a breakout board really, for my project with the STM8L152C6T. Feel free to do what you want with it. The traces are kind of ugly, mostly autorouter, but I was in a hurry. Also there is no regulator onboard. It was mostly copied from the STM8L discovery...

Re: Long initial MOSI bit duration using DMA

As you've noted, reality is quite different from the datasheet.

The timing is also nowhere near as critical on a number of points, see https://wp.josh.com/2014/05/13/ws2812-n ... know-them/

Its definitely due to the fentanyl crackdown by Canada Post.

Re: Any support for STM8S103F3P6 boards ?

The architecture is very different, and the specs for the chip are only comparable with an ATTiny84.

I've written things using them, but only in assembler or directly in C.

Re: Another F103C8 board (but not good value)

@denis - the picture only this board unfortunately doesn't have the square indicating pin 1 on either the nrf or the esp connector track ends. oh and the oled/tft pining isn't labeled either, but it does have unpopulated eprom, spi flash and sd card track / pads srp FWIW, the NRF and ESP face outwa...
