Re: HDC1080 and MS5611 sensors

If you don't already have one. Those $10 8 channel logic analysers is almost essential for doing any thing like this, then you can look at the bus timing in detail I have one of these , but debugging this on my device which is 25x35mm and has STM32, charge circuit, MPU9250, eeprom, and bluetooth mo...

Ok. Very dumb question: Can I run on the same pins simultaneously hardware and software I2C?
Or should I use another ones?
I don't think that you can use the same pins for Hardwire and Softwire at the same time - which is why I would also like to figure out why this is not working now.

Re: HDC1080 and MS5611 sensors

I'd try a lower pullup. e.g. 2.2k I don't have 2.2, but tried 2.7k and 1.5k - same thing, the device is not available with Hardwire - can only be found using Softwire. The other 2 devices are still found and working. I tried adjusting the speed in the Hardwire scanner sketch like this; Wire.begin()...

Re: HDC1080 and MS5611 sensors

What the OP is trying to say...and I found also in my tests - is the MS5611 sensor ONLY seems to work via software i2c with the current core. I have an STM32 device with an MS5611 and 2 other i2c devices, if I scan with the Hardwire scanner I see only 2 devices - not the MS5611, but if I scan with t...

Do you switch off/on the bottom R2 divider resistor?
I am using this circuit to enable the battery reading - I can't remember where I found it but it works well for me. Any suggestions on improvements to my code or circuit is always appreciated!

Reading Battery Voltage

I have a PCB I have designed that uses STM32F103 and is powered with a single 4.2v Li-on battery and I wanted to be able to accurately read the battery voltage. I am using a 3.3v regulator that starts to output less than 3.3v when the battery voltage drops below 3.85v, going down to about 3.15v when...

Re: Adafruit_GFX Buttons

None of those look like they offer any functionality over and above the .print function of the accompanying screen library, am I missing something? no they don't, but they do offer an easier way to deal with them - and when you have ~2k lines of code using these functions the easier way would be to...

Re: Adafruit_GFX Buttons

What are the offending functions that are removed from the new stock library? the following are not available in the stock library; int16_t drawUnicode(uint16_t uniCode, int16_t x, int16_t y, int16_t size); int16_t drawNumber(long long_num,int16_t poX, int16_t poY, int16_t size); int16_t drawChar(c...

Adafruit_GFX Buttons

I am working on a project using a STM32F103 and ILI9341 - I have been using Adafruit_GFX_AS.h & Adafruit_ILI9341_STM.h libraries which is working well. But I have a lot of buttons, and I am finding that using Utouch with the Adafruit library makes creating and monitoring button presses very cumberso...
