Re: Does "Baite" still make Maple Minis

I wonder if we could at least have them fix the USB pull-up resistor .

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

OK, you convinced me, I'll get the F4. I'll post in the relevant section when I get it. Thanks :).

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

But the F4 core is not as mature as the F1 one, is it?

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

What do you think about this board? Is a ZET6 for ~11€ a good bargain?

Re: USB reset issue in the Bootloader and libmaple core

Sorry for the delay. I've just come to the same conclusion, i.e.: the cr*ppy ModemManager interferes with my ttyACM* ports . The udev rules change seems to fix the issue, at least partly: if I upload while the serial monitor is open, the upload succeeds, but then I get the usual "Port busy" er...

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

It actually works perfectly well in my experience with Leonardo and Micro boards. I can't remember if I ever used it on the Due, though.

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

@Pito: Those are different things

@stevestrong: That works fine, thanks! But then this is a deviation from the Arduino API, why?

Re: Red Pill or Blue Pill?

Got myself a couple of Black Pills, I can confirm that https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/STM32duino-bootloader/master/STM32F1/binaries/generic_boot20_pb12.bin works nicely. I have noticed that the CDC Serial does not wait for connection like it does on the Leonardo though, if I d...

Re: UIPEthernet - Errors compiling

UIP on Arduino Uno is unusable anyway, it uses way too much flash/memory even with the simplest example. IMHO there's no point in doing any optimizations for the Uno, this library is excellent but needs a lot of resources (blame the cr*p ENC chip, actually!), so it should just really target more pow...

Re: UIPEthernet - Errors compiling

OK, tested it and it seems to run fine. I still can't say how stable it is, though. I had some lock-ups but they might be due to other factors. Still, I'm not sure it's a good idea to keep the library there. The best thing would probably be submitting a pull request upstream with the changes. I had ...
