Re: USB not working bacause of wrong resistors

Re: Proposal. Change Windows DFU driver to WinUSB

in linux the reset is actually not done by dfu-util
if you look in tools/linux64 you would notice a utility: upload_reset
the source code is found in tools/win/src/upload-reset
it seemed this same utility is not there for windows
but the same source code is there in tools/linux64/src/upload-reset

Re: Stm32duino with Android, how to use USB serial on Android

for still frame jpeg i think dependent on quality, it may be possible to be quite small (e.g. a dozen of k bytes), even then, my guess is it would be more like 'slow scan' tv https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow-scan_television actually jpeg compression ratios are rather impressive, based on this expe...

Re: Poll - favorite STM32F1 board for stm32duino 08/2107

among the F1 i'm a die hard fan for MM (clone - from Baite) (the prejudice is because i simply have it) among the F4 i agree with Ollie bluepad (stm32f407 mini) is about the most seductive (i've got a separate 'china made (possibly designed)' f405 the pins aren't properly broken out, while bla...

Re: Forum cluttered with posts about non existent problems...

People have started to comment that it's very hard to find the correct information, because the forum is cluttered with posts where people have claim things don't work for them, but in the end it turns out they made software or hardware mistakes or had defective hardware ***my personal opinion, tak...

Re: f407vet6 & f407zet6

i've always been wondering if stm32f4xx kind of high performance mcus may after all one day run 3d printers more than simply those 'dumb' 3d printer controllers that just interpret gcodes and move the motors. perhaps one day we may be able to pack an octoprint http://octoprint.org/ clone and do away...

Re: f407vet6 & f407zet6

oh and that stm's f40x ART accelerator and DMA controller may dwarf all those 'bigger' chips running at 1 ghz, in particular for running apps directly from flash. but of course the pi win by simply running it off megabytes of dram

Re: f407vet6 & f407zet6

the zet is remaining rather high at about $15 zgt not seen srp At that price, you might be tempted to go for a Pi Zero W instead of the ZET yup & if you don't mind a 'clone' there's orange pi for even less https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sop=15&_nkw=orange+pi&_pgn=10&_skc=450&rt=nc http://www.oran...

I've not had much spare time recently, so I haven't pursued this topic, but some of you might find this interesting.
