Re: Alternative USB Discovery Circuit

i think maple mini (and clones) has something similar https://github.com/leaflabs/maplemini/blob/master/maplemini.pdf i never quite examined it closely, but now i noted that there are 2 transistors which could be used to disable the D+ pull up to VCC (which interestingly is 3.3v). This seem to work ...

Re: analog watchdog in adc

actually i'm looking for a comparator and in stm32f103, the simple analog comparator isn't there. instead st substituted the comparator with 2 digital threshold comparators hide it in the adc and called it 'analog watchdog', that sounds good as well  a conventional LC meter circuit based on the...

analog watchdog in adc

it seemed to be there in stm32f103 (i.e. all the BP & MM etc), has anyone played with it?
it seemed like an underutilised useful stuff

Re: Temperature logger with Bluepill, microSD card and DS18B20

i used 1 of those 10,000 mah LIPO power bank, last 'forever' in my use case hardly switched on, occasional logging, last for ages, recharge once in a while, place VBAT on a coin cell keeps the rtc running literally perpetually  https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=powerbank&_sacat=0 i'm thi...

Re: Meltdown and Spectre - Cortex M3 M4 not affected

my guess is with 20k ram there isn't enough room for meltdown or spectre to live alongside the sketch as well

i think the 'old' timer examples from the original leaflabs documents still works

Re: Need advise on logic analyser

i've been thinking that the stm32f407ve boards e.g. the black f4 etc would make pretty good logic analysers and oscilloscopes fast cpu speeds and decent amount of on chip memory a google search turned these up https://www.fussylogic.co.uk/blog/?p=1226 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD3_PqbAgV0 and ...

Re: STM32 OTA on Arduino IDE for STM32-Arduino and STM32GENERIC repo

thanks and oh ok here come's stm's own nrf51822 competitor - BlueNRG2 http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/wireless-connectivity/bluetooth-bluetooth-low-energy/bluenrg-2.html the wireless competition is certainly heating up unfortunately that evaluation board is tad bulky (compared to maple ...
