Re: ili3941 TJCTM24028-SPI

yup, earlier i've naively connected my reset on pin 0 (pb11) on maple mini. it turns out the code check that reset pin is something other than 0 before it does a reset. *without the reset* right at the beginning of TFT.begin() - that does initiation - 'nothing works' imho the standalone LDO on...

some useful documentation on the CubeMX and HAL API

while googling around looking up information for the ST's Cube MX - HAL API i stumbled into this link en.DM00105879.pdf UM1725 User Manual Description of STM32F4 HAL and LL drivers http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/user_manual/2f/71/ba/b8/75/54/47/cf/DM00105879.pdf/files/DM00...

Re: ili3941 TJCTM24028-SPI

i stumbled into this LDO stuff while searching for a way to use that SD card (note it is not micro SD) slot  mine has got various series resistors connecting to the SD slot pins and i found interesting hacks here https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=354873.0 and here https://forum.pjrc.com/...

ili9341 TJCTM24028-SPI

recently while meddling with an ili9341 spi tft lcd TJCTM24028-SPI e.g. from ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=ili9341&_sop=15 i've initially been doing my various graphics tests powering the tft lcd from the 3.3v pin on maple mini i came to learn that these boa...

Re: mcufriend LCD 2.6 inch with STM32F103C8

you would probably need to find out what is the lcd controller for the lcd and the pinouts for those pins it looks somewhat like a 8 bit or 16 bit parallel interface to me http://misc.ws/2013/11/08/touch-screen-shield-for-arduino-uno/ http://misc.ws/2015/01/24/lcd-touch-screen-information/ http://ww...

Re: oled example code is not working

i suppose your 16x2 is working ok, right? :D
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1996

messing with a tft lcd and spi is perhaps > 10x more complicated than that 16x2,
working with a tft lcd take more steps to troubleshoot and figure out how to make it work

Re: STM32GENERIC, my arduino implementation

hi daniel, perhaps u may like to create a thread with the same subject there and place a ref/link from this thread in addition, i'd suggest that threads there referencing this core prefix with STM32GENERIC, but it'd need a little co-operation from all so that it is easier to identify the subjects. ;)

Re: some troubles with ili9341, spi connectivity issues?

based on the ili9341 documentations https://www.crystalfontz.com/controllers/ILItek/ILI9341/142 https://www.crystalfontz.com/controllers/ILItek/ILI9341 e.g. page 83 section 8 command list, page 92 8.2.4 read display status (this is the detailed command spec) the idea is we set the D/C pin low (i.e. ...

Re: Improving F4 core (libmaple based)

yup, lets go with stm32generic, hopefully Daniel will welcome this decision  oh & for f4, 1'd need to get an f4 with the ART accelerator (500 mflops psuedo whetstone benchmark @240mhz) at least, that'd cope with all the codes however fat it may be, if u get an stm32f405rgt6 it is 1 m fl...
