Re: Bootloader damaged when using streaming.cpp

note that st-link is a fully capable jtag/swd debug device, you can setup openocd and gdb and do a full blown jtag/swd debug, including things like flashing any binaries (boot loader or any sketches) at any locations, set breakpoints, examine codes, registers etc hence be sure u know what you are do...

Re: stm32duino library for VL530lox LIDAR sensor

found the datasheet, and interestingly it is from ST! http://www.st.com/en/imaging-and-photonics-solutions/vl53l0x.html http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/datasheet/group3/b2/1e/33/77/c6/92/47/6b/DM00279086/files/DM00279086.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00279086.pdf but no...

Re: Bootloader damaged when using streaming.cpp

@JohnO as i do not know about your setup for debug, i'm only guessing that you may be doing debug using a different IDE (e.g. eclipse) or perhaps some scripts or another program. however, do be aware that some of the debug implementations upload the program over jtag/swd just prior to starting debug...

Re: Loading programs over wifi

i think different soc in the stm32 series http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/b9/9b/16/3a/12/1e/40/0c/CD00167594.pdf/files/CD00167594.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00167594.pdf has some (slight) differences in the boot configurations in particular the boot ...

Re: Loading programs over wifi

i think that's interesting and feasible :) http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/51/5f/03/1e/bd/9b/45/be/CD00264342.pdf/files/CD00264342.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00264342.pdf the other alternate ways could involve having a different program running in st...

Re: Bootloader damaged when using streaming.cpp

you can install a sketch using dfu-util -a 2 -R -D sketch.bin where the -a n corresponds to that alt=n selection from dfu-util -l take note of my comments on debug sketch install in the prior post, the ide can *overwrite* that install using jtag/swd that you have done using dfu-util you would either...

Re: Bootloader damaged when using streaming.cpp

if you need debug in your sketch, call enableDebugPorts(); http://www.stm32duino.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2084#p27916 enableDebugPorts(); as rick mentioned there is also the define -DCONFIG_MAPLE_MINI_NO_DISABLE_DEBUG that you can set during compile to allow debug. e.g. in platforms.txt 1 importa...

Re: USB Observations

press reset, it would go back into those fast/slow blinks for a while (dfu mode), then later jump to your sketch

Re: Bootloader damaged when using streaming.cpp

be careful, that's your Bus 029 Device 008: ID 05ac:821d Apple Inc. Bluetooth USB Host Controller not a maple mini/blue pill with Arduino_stm32 or bootloader installed  ok now i'm seeing that 1eaf:0003, Bus 020 Device 006: ID 1eaf:0003 1eaf Maple 003 Serial: LLM 003 you need to run dfu-util -l ...

Re: Bootloader damaged when using streaming.cpp

normally those flashes comes from the (dfu) bootloader, try to run dfu-util -l when the flashes are occurring and you should get some sensible responses one thing though, i'm not seeing the device 1eaf:0003 - in your lsusb outputs, you should normally see device 1eaf:0003 in your lsusb output if the...
