At last I got the PSRAM working!
I've done a demo for Arduino IDE here.
BTW: There isn't any trace of PSRAM in the W806 SDK. You have to search over the W801 SDK...

Re: W801
I was quite annoyed by the "manual" upload requiring pressing the RST button twice ( ), so I did "a walk" inside Arduino IDE and the tools used in the W80x "core" to find a solution and.... I found it! First of all only the W801 based board on Aliexpress has the n...
Re: W801
Just for fun ( ) I've done an Arduino Due sized PCB using a W806 and called it Azz!Duino ( ): https://i.postimg.cc/wT3Fvzwr/Azz-Duino-PCB.jpg The PCB allows two options: PSRAM and external 9-12V supply. I've just soldered a first board (no option installed) and it seems work as expec...

For those interested here the schematic of the board with the W801 ( HLK-W801-KIT-V1.0.pdf ) and some manuals: http://82.157.145.101/download/toolkits/winnermicro/w801/, and here manuals on the C-sky and the W806, including the W806 Special Function Registers manual: http://82.157.145.101/download/t...

...this looked unusually easy... Exactly ;) Here a short video I did a few years ago showing the complete soldering process (using a TS100 iron + BC2 tip): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlKLheYB8z0 https://i.postimg.cc/d3NzxMNr/Screenshot-from-2022-10-16-11-57-11.png The only "difficulty&quo...
Re: W801
I've soldered some SMT boards but up to now never with a QFN, so this one can be a good occasion to try... This is my last toy (with a STM32F030R8T6): https://i.postimg.cc/QdykqFNV/Studio-68.jpg I use the hot air gun only for the smaller parts (resistors, resistor arrays, caps, diodes, leds...) and ...
Re: W801
I wrote my w801 journey here, if anyone is interested: https://dannyelectronics.wordpress.com/2022/10/14/w801-first-impression/ Thanks for sharing. Very interesting! My W801 board is on the way together with a bunch of W806 MCUs (chip only). They have a "nice" QFN-56 package with a 0.35mm...

It seems it has 2 USB I/F, and one is USB HOST
