Re: Getting started - Partial success - what next?

That is the thread that lead me here 175 or so pages! This is a big holiday weekend here in the states. So a lot of people are off enjoying life. I have been fiddling with the setup, Still have no luck getting the LED to blink. I re-read some of the STM stuff, but I quickly get lost in areas that I ...

Getting started - Partial success - what next?

This is sort of a continuation from my introduction post. The good news is that the Arduino_STM core and example repository I downloaded on this posting date works. I was able to successfully verify and download the blink sketch to my STM32F103 Nucleo. The LED2 indicator does not blink, but the down...

Re: introduction -- getting started

I am going to post an update in the Nucleo forum. But I want to end this thread with -Job well done!

Short version - I am very happy. :D There has been an incredible amount of work here in the last month or so. Many thanks for the countless unappreciated hours you have put into this.

Re: introduction -- getting started

Thanks Roger, that was fast Yes It does verify now. I have not connected the hardware yet. I am still attempting to find my way around. Most of the other boards I have on hand are F0 or F4. Looks like this board has the most work done so far. I also noticed that the Wiki is a bit more up to date reg...

Re: introduction -- getting started

Thanks for all the feedback. This area really seems to be taking off. Perhaps I was not clear. I have about 8 or 9 STM32 boards of different flavors, which I would like to use the Arduino IDE to program under OS X. I do not have time to figure out all the ARM setup code, when all I want to do is to ...

introduction -- getting started

I am not sure where the introductions go. Here or in the OT forum. It seems like a lot has happened here over the last few months. Having just been re-inspired by last weeks Maker Faire, I found this forum while browsing through the arduino forums. I have been coding AVR processors for around 15 yea...
