upload speed cf standard

Post by zmemw16 » Mon Dec 28, 2015 4:27 pm

someone must have been curious as to the performance difference.

my feel for an upload is about a factor of 5 increase.

if the ide is full screen, i see a line printed for each 'percentage complete' output;
however the console from which i run arduino shows a single line for the percentage.

this is on debian 8, 1.6.5 r5 and a very recent download of both repositories.

Sadly, not curious... I have heard from all the "old folk" about how curiosity was not good for the feline ... that scared me enough to not take any chances even if I am not a cat. :lol:
