Working: TinyGPS++

Post by Kenjutsu » Sun Jul 26, 2015 3:34 pm

Hello everyone,

TinyGPS++ works and the examples compile with the help of SoftwareSerial ported by Ray

I tested it on a Blue Pill STM32duino, using this GPS module: For Arduino MWC IMU APM2 Ublox NEO-6M GPS Module Aircraft Flight Controller
Pieter

OSX: 10.12.6
Arduino IDE: 1.6.12
Blue pill STM32F103C8T6 Dev Board

Sorry for resurrecting this topic, but have you tested with hardware serial, instead of SS. I replaced ss.begin/ss.read in the examples with Serial3, but I never managed to make it work. I also tried with NeoGPS lib, it compiles, but again, no response. What is the GPS you are using and what protocol is it talking? NMEA, NMEA+UBLX?

Thanks

i just realized that tinygps++ doesn't work with satellites different from GP (see: http://www.trimble.com/oem_receiverhelp ... s_GNS.html) since now there are the new galileo (so GN) i bought a module for only 6 euros that support them

do you know any library which would work with them?
