Top link to techradar is paywalled. Well it complains about the ad blocker and wants you to pay for subscription. Guess I am to old. I remember when information wants to be free. Now the new aggregators are charging for other peoples data ...

I have no intention of white listing the site. Most of the Ads I see when sites are unblocked are offensive, especially to women. They usually use some anorexic model to sell either clothing that would not look good on me. Or stuff like the latest model car, beer, and other things that is bad for the world/society. I also am tired of having too many 'vendor' accounts, forums, mail list etc. Oh for the days of Usenet.

Anyway the wiki gives a good overview.

but i think they won't be the only one, and i think more ARM processor manufacturers would move further into the realm of PCs and servers.
even the Raspberry Pi 4 is now running pretty much like a notebook computer, probably close to the ultrabooks.

Share your concerns over paywalls and having to have an "account" just to access freely posted material.
I had a falling-out recently with Hackster.io over their blocking my content at
https://www.hackster.io/rayburne/projects
after a non-logged-in operator views too many writeups! User-accounts are "free" but it drives the price hackster can charge for advertisements and likely has other benefits for them, too. But annoying folks who are reading/browsing is not good business in my way of thinking.

Maybe time for Internet 3.

OMG, is that a literal TOFU Controller in the IC schematic?

Japanese have no chill, I love it!
