I2C in different pin.. how to do it?

Post by klerone » Mon Mar 27, 2017 8:38 am

Dear all.

I post this question because I had expend the whole day trying and looking for information how to use a different pin por I2C in the STM32F103C generic.
I found a post from Roger that said the I2C is software because it can be used in any pin, but there was not explanation how to setup another pin. Actually I can use the I2C in the pin PB6(SCL) and PB7(SDA) in the blue pill board. But I have another board where those pins are linked to the ESP8266 port and I am not able to use the I2C while using the ESP for WiFi.
The I2C device I can use is the BMP180 using the ad fruit library as it. I did not modify anything

that suggests the adafruit library already has the code in it, so you need to take a close look at it; in particular the constructor and begin methods.
