Problems using w5500

Post by pokemon99 » Fri Nov 17, 2017 1:48 pm

I can not understand, maybe this problem is not in the w5500, but periodically falls off w5500.
If you call Ethernet.begin after a certain time, then there is no problem.
Reading sockets in the normal state
Socket#0:0x14 85 D:52.5.13.84(80)
Socket#1:0x0 1026 D:52.1.229.129(80)
Socket#2:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#3:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#4:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#5:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#6:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#7:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)

And when it hangs, the MCU itself works
Socket#0:0x14 85 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#1:0x0 1028 D:192.168.0.1(53)
Socket#2:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#3:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#4:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#5:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#6:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)
Socket#7:0x0 0 D:0.0.0.0(0)

192.168.0.1 this my router
I use a static IP

It would help us if you point out which chip and which library are u using, and eventually post a simple sketch with which the problem can be reproduced.

What are those parameters in the socket log?

P.S. I moved the topic to the right place.

Any development on this topic?

It may interest me because I also experience from time to time that the W5500 does not respond to any query from outside, while the CPU runs well.
In these cases I reset the board and then everything works again till next time.

I think I have to run some long-time test with another W5500 board.

If the OP does not respond in a day or two we should delete the thread, there is no point cutting the forum with dead threads. Or initially move it to the dead thread graveyard
