Hello from Melbourne

Please read this if you are new to the STM32

Message to all users

I've upgraded the forum (PHPBB) to version 3.1.10 which is the last stable release in the 3.1 tree.

As far as I can tell everything is still working OK, e.g. all posts look like they are there and the attachments are OK

If anyone has any problems please PM me.
PS. Don't PM the admin account as for some reason I still don't get email notifications of these PM's (but I never have ;-)

Hi all from Melbourne!

Nice work and a great resource Roger!

I have a small project to develop a small handset incorporating:

1: stm32f103c8
2: 128x64 oled
3 nrf905 transceiver
4: keypad
5: NiMh charging circuitry

Features of the MCU applicable here are:

1. Low power modes.
2. RTC
3: sufficient ram and flaxh
4: sufficient I/O,SPI and I2C
5: able to develop on Linux system
6 CHEAP!

I am still considering whether a RTOS is the go as I have got each peripheral to work standalone on a breadboard in arduino.
I would like to use a custom makefile and codeblocks instead of the standard IDE, just a bit fiddly to set up.
Has anyone done that?
Google doesn't turn up much.

Thanks Rick, I'll take a look at it.
