Hello, Software and Hardware Libre advocate here

Post by lkcl » Thu Sep 28, 2017 5:57 am

hi, my name's luke kenneth casson leighton (lkcl) which i use in full to distinguish from the various other "luke leightons" that you can find on the internet. i'm a software libre engineer who got into reverse-engineering because of the lack availability of modern open hardware, realised that was always going to mean that the hardware was years out-of-date, and instead started creating new - modern - hardware as a way to actually make money ethically, by selling the hardware *with* software libre pre-installed.

i'm currently focussing on fulfilling an eco-conscious crowd-funding campaign https://crowdsupply.com/eoma68 and am using the STM32F072 for the keyboard and trackpad (actually a 320x240 LCD with a CTP) controller. i also need to create a 3D printer (long story) it's called the Riki200, and i would like to reduce the cost of 32-bit Arduinos by using the 100-pin STM32F072... long story, will create a separate thread for it instead of discussing it here (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2630).

anyway... hello!
