I used ARDUINO IDE with NANO and UNO.
Now I wanted to use a STM NUCLEO Board F429ZI

The STM Nucleo boards are supported by this Official core: https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32

The above link lists the Nucleo boards that are supported.

A good portion of the forum uses "generic" boards such as Maple Mini, blue, black, or even red clones. These clones are supported by the following core:
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/Arduino_STM32

The two cores have similar characteristics but are not interchangeable.
