Congrats!
The MapleTree Mini RET6 looks really promising for that price and has no compitition (price + form factor). I like the RET6 because of the outstanding specs (in contrast to the smaller STM32F103xx): 2x 12bit DAC's, 2x I2s
I used a RET6 board for my 4-voice synthesizer project (4 channels over I2s out into analog filters)

@AnalogLamb

Can you post the schematic as a PDF, as I think people will be interesting in finding out if you can connect a battery and whether it has RCT 32KHz crystal,
Also we can see what USB reset circuit you use etc.

Is the connector in the top left of the photo, to connect a battery ?
I am mot sure if it is necessary as people can solder connections for this.
I don't think the extra cost of a power connector is necessary

I don't know if your board has this problem, but the micro USB connectors with 2 fixing points often break from the PCB.

Mini USB, or Micro USB with 4 fixing points seem to be stronger.

Eeeek, I was about to order a RET6 board as a sample, but as last step AFTER registering I saw that shipping is about 20 USD to Austria.
Sorry, but there is no relationship between 1/3 product costs and 2/3 shipping costs to me.

Yikes

Thats far too expensive.

Postage changes from Aus to most places worldwide are around $5 USD ($7.50 AUD) and allow me to post up to 25gramm and up to 20mm thick, (which is OK for PCBs without pins soldered on)

As far as I was aware, China Post rates are even cheaper than this.

Product Dimensions and Weight
Product Length:
10.0000M
Product Weight:
0.3000KG
I would not have problem with 10m long MapleTree Mini R1, but 0.3kg is far too much (because of shipment fees).
I get all the stuff from ebay of similar size and weight shipment free..

Far too much for a 10m maple tree?
I don't think so:

The package is about 0.1kg, based on the actual weight and fee, we will refund the balance. 10m is a mistake clearly.
