STM32 on Linux Arduino 2:1.0.5 64-bit Ubuntu

Postby jj57 » Mon Jan 02, 2017 8:18 pm

Hi,

I installed the STM32_Arduino zip contents into ~/.arduino/hardware as follows:

john@Dell:~/.arduino/hardware$ ls
Arduino_STM32

and then underneath that folder ....

john@Dell:~/.arduino/hardware$ cd Arduino_STM32/
john@Dell:~/.arduino/hardware/Arduino_STM32$ ls
drivers examples LICENSE README.md STM32 STM32F1 STM32F3 STM32F4 tools

Still Arduino does not list the STM32 board options. I notice there is no longer a Boards Manager.

I installled Arduino earlier today from the Ubuntu Repositories.

Please help ?

Thanks.

http://wiki.stm32duino.com/index.php?ti ... n_on_Linux

"Copy the Arduino_STM32 folder to the hardware folder in your Arduino sketches folder . If the hardware folder does not exist, please create one."

That typically means $HOME/Arduino/hardware/ .. so files in $HOME/Arduino/hardware/Arduino_STM32
-rick
