Rick

I thought perhaps the forum does not have as many active members as we imagined, but I did a query on the database for then number of members who have logged in, within the last 4 weeks and the result as 288, which is higher than I had expected

Vote for Other as I'm currently working on Nucleo-F103.
Moreover, for a personal projet I've used a F7 disco to drive a goose incubator for my brother-in-law (Management of: temperature, humidity, eggs rotation).
For the GUI, i've used https://www.embedded-wizard.de/.

Only the Evaluation version:
With the Evaluation Edition you can get to know Embedded Wizard's workflow, load the deployed examples, process the available tutorials and generate source code for PC. And of course, you can also save your changes and generate source code for dedicated embedded platforms for small and less complex GUI applications.
Code size is limited but you can already do nice and smart GUI.

Hi all,
I voted for the maple mini just as "reference design" because i like "integrate" it in other custom stuff.

An example is the project I'm playing on... the "CPLD Fun Board":

The STM32F103 MCU (maple mini) is used as "stimulus generator" for the CPLD (and as 8/36MHz clock generator too). The CPLD is an EPM240T100C5 with 240 LEs, enough for some fun...
When fully tested I'll post here (in the Custom Board section) a link with all the details (including schematic and pcb).

Functional block diagram: Image

Typical session (using the schematic editor): Image

After this one I'll probably make an other one using an FPGA... (I've already a Cyclone II and a Cyclone IV laying around waiting to be soldered....)

i'm curious so a similar poll for STM32F4 boards ?
I'm not familiar with the popular F4 boards. It would be great if you setup an F4 poll @zmemw16

I'm sad that we are getting such a low response to the poll. I guess it is summertime/vacation time and people are otherwise distracted. I'm not convinced that there aren't more maple mini fans out there. Where are you @mrburnette ? : )

I do have a bunch of Maple Minis boards. However, I tend to use my bluepills with and stlink debugger. I'm probably in a small subset of people who never load the bootloader on the BP. I find it is just easier to use the bluepills with a debugger than the Maple Mini. The options in the Arduino IDE aren't really setup to deal with someone who wants to use a debugger with the Maple Minis. Also, the SWD pins aren't marked as such so I have to look it up each time I want to do that, in addition to hacking the boards.txt file to allow for debug. And the final thing about the Maple Minis, I guess I'm a hamfisted board users, half of my Maple Minis have a decapitated USB connector : (

Next poll I'll add:
  1. NUCLEO-F103RB
  2. CPLD Fun Board
Are there any others on our list http://wiki.stm32duino.com/index.php?ti ... 103_boards that I should add?

I know there are F103 boards with the larger chips. However, my gut tells me when people take that jump they go directly to an F4 board.
